Abstract

The development of Islam at the time of the Prophet Muhammad SAW and his companions was a golden age, it can be seen how the purity of Islam itself is with the perpetrators and the main factor, namely the Prophet Muhammad. Then in the next era, namely the age of the companions, especially during the time of the fourth caliph or better known as Khulafaurrasyidin, Islam developed rapidly. This of course cannot be separated from the fighters who are very persistent in defending and also in spreading Islam as a monotheistic religion which is a religion that is accepted. The development of Islam at this time was the starting point for changes in civilization to a more advanced direction. So it is not surprising that historians note that Islam at the time of the Prophet Muhammad and Khulafaur Rashidun was a very influential Islam. But what sometimes becomes a statement is why in this day and age we seem to forget it. However, the journey of Islam will not be separated from the figure of the Prophet Muhammad SAW and his successors, namely Al-Khulafa Ar-Rashidin, tabi'in, and economic thinkers, both during the reign of Abu Bakr and the reign of Umar bin Khattab.
